What do our flowers cost?
The field flowers cost $125 (+tax) per 5 gallon bucket if you are coming to pick them yourself. We are also happy to pre-pick for you for $150 (+tax) per 5 gallon bucket.
How many buckets will I need?
On average, one bucket will fill 8 – 12 pint size mason jars or 6 – 8 quart size ones. Numbers of jars can vary widely based upon your designs. Bring an actual vase of what you will be using to give you a better idea of quantities you will need to pick.
What kind of flowers will I find on the farm?
Little River Flower Farm grows over 8000 cut flowers of annuals, perennials, herbs and greenery in our fields, gardens and greenhouses. Our offerings vary in size, color and selection over the season. Click here for a list.
What if you don’t have the flowers/colors I’m looking for?
In addition to the field flowers, we offer some stunning cut flowers grown in our greenhouses. Having some of these designed into your bridal party bouquets will keep your guests talking about your flowers for a long time. We can also order specialty flowers & greenery we do not grow, like garden roses, calla lilies and more. Please give us a minimum of three weeks lead time.

Please let us know in advance if you would like any of our specialty flowers. We will have them ready and conditioned when you arrive. Let us know if you want smaller quantities & we will send you prices.
When should I pick my flowers?
We recommend that flowers be picked in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the hottest part of the day. If you have a Saturday event we suggest picking on Thursday.
How long will my flowers last?
Our freshly cut flowers will easily last several days when stored properly: in clean buckets, with plenty of fresh water and in a space away from direct sunlight. A barn or garage is a perfect place to keep your flowers in great shape until your event.
Do I need to bring my own picking supplies?
Bring your own clean buckets or purchase ours for $3.00 each. Clean buckets will help ensure your flowers will last longer. If a group is coming bring your own cutting tools.
Can you make my bouquet too?
Yes! We are happy to make bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, garlands, dog collars…you name it and we can make it!
Do I need an appointment?
We do ask that you make an appointment and pay a $125 deposit plus tax, $131.88, to hold the date and time you would like to pick. We currently accept checks and cash. An ATM is located .5 mile on Turkey Lane at Buxton Mini Mart.
